Air blending is one of the quickest, cleanest, and most efficient methods of achieving homogeneous batches of powdered, granular, and/or abrasive materials in transporters, atmospheric bins, or storage silos.
MSE's technologically advanced pneumatic blender is comprised of a casting and either six (Model 244) or twelve (Model 277) removable aeration valve assemblies which are mounted in a circular pattern on the casting. When the aeration valves are "pulsed", a gentle blast of compressed air is injected, at various angles, into the center of the unblended material, lifting the material upward and outward. The blending action is optimized by adjusting the pressure, the "on" and "off" duration, and the frequency of the air pulses.
Because there are virtually no moving parts, the blender has a long service life and requires minimal maintenance. The aeration valve assemblies are externally accessible and can be quickly and easily replaced or repaired on-site.
